The Alpine biome is highly affected by humans because of climate change. Climate specialists have said that in the Rocky Mountains the temperatures will get between 2.5- 5 degrees F warmer by 2050 with summers warming more than winters but there isn't  much agreement on whether they'll be wetter or drier. The mountains depend on being snow capped for all of the animals living there. The animals drink out of the small streams running through the mountains for water. Some of the streams are fed by the snow melt. If those streams stopped running then all of the animals would die.
